This photo is of a tin type that was
only 1 inch x 1 1/2 inches.
Scanning it brought out much more detail that was not obvious with the naked eye. The Original finish looked as though someone had taken a hammer to the metal.
It was rusted and the finish was missing. This picture required major work.
After it was completed it was printed to an 8x10 size.

Restorations
This is one of my favorite jobs.....restoring old photos. The greater the challenge the more I love it. Send me your tired, your poor, your huddled "pieces" yearning to be restored..... That's right, bring'em on!
Your original photos will not be touch but copies of them will be restored.
My work has been recommended by National Photo Labs (Burrell and Kodak). I have been told that I am one of the best and least expensive restorers around. Work has been sent to me from as far away as California.
Yes you can e-mail me pictures to be restored. If you send the actual picture it does not leave my studio. All work is done here.
Please browse through some of my work below.
These next 3 are what I consider "Extreme
Makeovers".
(less painful than the TV Program of the same name)
Extreme repairs.
Original - Black and White
This photo needed to fit a 5x7 frame so a custom border was added to the sides of the picture to make it fit the frame and the time and era The original photo was only 1 1/2 by 3 inches.
